.

McLaren Medical Groupmanages the corporate ambulatory network consisting of more than 150 primary and specialty centers located throughout a 35-county region employing nearly 450 healthcare providers including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse-midwives.

Its more than 300 physicians are among the top admitting and referring physicians for McLaren hospital subsidiaries. MMG has earned Patient-Centered Medical Home designation by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for many of these practices, and six practices participate in the advanced primary medical home Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) model.

The areas that MMG serves are; Bay Region, Flint, Greater Lansing, Central (Mt. Pleasant), Lapeer Region, Macomb, Oakland, Port Huron, and Northern Michigan.

The areas of specialties at MMG include; Family Care Centers consisting of Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics/Gynecology. Also, MMG specialists include Cardiology and related sub-specialties, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Podiatry, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Hematology/Oncology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, and Radiology. Also, MMG provides Occupational Health services, Convenient Care, and Prompt Care Centers.

All GME programs at McLaren are overseen and managed centrally by the Department of Academic Affairs.
