, System Vice President of Technology.

McLaren Healthcare Corporation is seeking a visionary leader responsible for providing effective leadership for McLaren Health Care and aligning the technology vision with business strategy by integrating processes with the appropriate technologies. The VP of Technology is also responsible for all aspects of developing strategy, implementing and maintaining technology initiatives, assuring high performance, consistency, reliability, and scalability of all technology offerings. The maintaining of existing enterprise technologies, while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of IT operations and core McLaren Health Care values.

McLaren Health Care, headquartered in Grand Blanc, Michigan, is a fully integrated health network committed to quality, evidence-based patient care, and cost-efficiency. The McLaren system includes 15 hospitals in Michigan and Ohio, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, a 490-member employed primary and specialty care physician network, commercial and Medicaid HMOs covering more than 588,000 lives in Michigan and Indiana, home health, infusion, and hospice providers, pharmacy services, a clinical laboratory network, and a wholly-owned medical malpractice insurance company. McLaren operates Michigan’s largest network of cancer centers and providers, anchored by the Karmanos Cancer Institute, one of only 51 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the U.S. McLaren has 28,000 full-, part-time, and contracted employees and more than 90,000 network providers throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

As part of its Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, McLaren maintains academic affiliations with medical schools at Wayne State University, Michigan State University, and Central Medical University. McLaren’s six (6) GME campuses offer 27 residencies and eight (8) fellowship programs that train over 650 future physicians annually. All GME programs at McLaren are overseen and managed centrally by the Department of Academic Affairs.

· Solid understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities.

· Extensive knowledge of data enterprise software applications, outsourcing standard practices, integration, interoperability and information exchange standard practices.

· Technical experience with systems networking, cloud, data center, databases, Web development, and user support.

· Excellent understanding of project management principles.

· Excellent knowledge of advanced technologies including mobile computing, data warehousing and health information exchange.

· Ability to analyze complex technology problems and develop recommendations and solutions that are understood in business terms.

· Demonstrate ability to prioritize and multi-task.

· Demonstrate effective problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
