General Farm Worker

Penderlea Farms is an up and coming tree farm in Burgaw, North Carolina. All of our oaks are grown in North Carolina soil, and our acorns are harvested from some of the most famous trees in the area. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of best practices in the industry, and are looking for a committed, hard-working, individual to join our team at the ground level.

Some of the day to day duties on the farm include planting & transplanting trees, pruning & caring for trees, mowing and weed-eating to keep the property looking clean, up-keeping various irrigation systems, using tractors & bush-hogs, maintaining wooded areas, and other various tasks as designated by the farm manager.

The right person for this position is motivated, able to complete tasks alone OR work well in a team, able to change directions based on farm needs, and an excellent communicator. Must have reliable transportation and be able to consistently show up to work on time. Attention to detail and taking pride in one’s work is a must.
