Lead Carpenter for Growing Remodeling Company

A commitment to quality craftsmanship that doesn’t change from day to day. Appropriate, respectful manners with all people but especially our clients. You don’t have to be perfect but a positive attitude is a must.

Your specific responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

oversee day to day site production

direct subcontractors and helpers on site per plan specs

accurately measure, order and pick up supplies from vendors

interpret building plans

labor on job sites

train carpenter’s helpers

meet hours allotted for project phases and completion deadlines

keep shop clean and organized

Personal attributes: Reliable, flexible, honest, clean, hard -working, detail oriented, respectful, able to problem solve.

Pay: $25 - $32

Skills:

Ability to use power tools and train others to use them

Aware of job site safety standards

Able to frame additions, interior walls, set windows install siding

Basic understanding of current building code requirements

Able to set cabinets, install base, casing and crown moulding to a high quality standard

Able to lift heavy materials

Able to communicate with clients on site as needed
