Performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Performs complete installation, maintenance, adjustments, troubleshooting and repairs on company equipment and prepare requisitions. Conducts special, regulatory and/or periodic inspections. Assembles office and workstation furniture and equipment, and supports office moves and reconfigurations. Utilizes a variety of hand, power, test tools and equipment. Maintains maintenance and repair logs. May estimate labor and equipment costs. Operates company vehicles.

Typical Education and Experience: High school degree or equivalent and 2 years of related experience.

KnowledgeFull knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.

Problem SolvingGeneral supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.
