Frontend Angular 7.0+ developer for a German multinational chemical company and the largest chemical producer in the world located in Whitehouse, Ohio or Southfield, Michigan. Job Title: Frontend Angular 7.0+ developer Location: Whitehouse, Ohio or Southfield, Michigan. Type: ONLY on W2 contract Length: 13 months Pay Rate - $50- $55 per hour Role: Frontend Angular 7.0+ developer to develop custom solutions within an existing application framework. The developer selected will join a Dev Ops team of full stack developers building and supporting complex applications forming a cohesive platform. This involves integrating the frontend with a C# API and SQL backend deployed on Microsoft Azure. The product space is expanding both in terms of applications and technologies. The developer must be able to successfully demonstrate the ability to design, code, test, document, deploy, and support a solution. Working independently, as well as within a team, exhibiting the ability to adapt and communicate are essential to success in this role. Responsibilities Coding within a previously started application as well as completely brand-new development Maintain code quality throughout the assignment Ability to debug, test, and correct code issues. Core Requirements 1. Located within a daily commute of Whitehouse, Ohio or Southfield, Michigan - If Southfield, occasional daytime reimbursed road travel (10%) to Whitehouse, Ohio will be required. - If Whitehouse, occasional daytime reimbursed road travel (10%) to Southfield, Michigan will be required. 2. Associates or bachelor's degree in Information Technology from an Accredited College or University in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology with a specialization in Software Development or Computer/Software Engineering plus a solid understanding and skill in Object Oriented Programming 3. 3 -5 years of experience in software engineering / development 4. At least 2 years of software development experience in Angular 2.0+ or Typescript (not Angular JS) 5. Experience with Unit Testing using Jasmine and Karma 6. Experience developing mobile applications (PWA, Android, IOS) 7. Experience working on a DevOps team. 8. Have a passion to go above and beyond while achieving solid goal completion in a strict 40-hour schedule 9. Has an architectural mindset including an understanding of SOLID and DRY principles 10. Pay rate commensurate with knowledge and experience identified during the interview process. Preferred 1. 2+ years of development experience using Angular 7+ UI and services 2. 2+ years of experience using C# or Java for API development 3. 1 year of experience with backend development in .NET or Nodejs 4. 1 year of experience migrating data, developing, or administering SQL / noSQL databases 5. Familiarity with cloud concepts, preferably with Microsoft Azure 6. Microservices based application development experience 7. Agile Scrum Fundamentals, Product Owner or Scrum Master Certifications 8. Training or certifications in RXJS, Nodejs, MS SQL 9.
