Field Service Engineer - Southeast RegionDirect Hire; company carSeeking experienced Field Service Engineer for the southeast region who will be responsible for providing technical customer support-start-up, service, and maintenance of the industrial optical sorting machines – at the customer’s location and also troubleshoot by phone, and under direct supervision recommends equipment and changeover parts, suggests modifications, and provide limited on-site technical training.Candidate must be based in 100-mile radius of Albany, GA. Supporting clients in Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.Duties:Performed skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools, precision measuring devices or specialty tools.

Responsible for shop equipment operating, troubleshot breakdowns, maintained supplies, performed preventive maintenance.

Performed factory warranty repairs and system diagnosis.

Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.

Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.

Technical support, and troubleshooting machines

Test circuits, components of malfunctioning telecommunications equipment to isolate sources of malfunctions, using test meters, circuit diagrams, polarity probes, and other hand tools.

Qualifications:Minimum 3 years-experience in field engineering

Repair of electronic equipment

Bachelor Degree in Technical Management or Associates Degree in Electronic or Computer Technology or similar.

Extensive travel - 85% travel

Experience with Optical Sorting Machines is preferred
