Tier 1 Network Technician – Warren, MI

Metro Wireless is a Detroit Area based company currently seeking a Tier 1 (entry level) Network Technician. Some of the duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:

· Monitoring network operations

· Answering customer support calls, emails and messages

· Logging support tickets

· Providing updates to customers

· Provisioning network equipment

· Remote support for new installs

· Basic data entry

Experience Required:

· Basic understanding of IPv4 and some IPv6 networking concepts

· Reasonable computer and phone skills

· Flexibility of schedule

· Strong interpersonal skills and patience with customers

· Willingness to learn new abilities and concepts
