Assistant Caregiver

I am in search of an assistant caregiver for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms at a daycare and preschool center. We need someone who is upbeat, positive, caring, energetic, and excited to work with kids in the early childhood industry.

Assistants must:

Be 18 years or older

Be willing to undergo a background check (and get cleared)

Undergo 24 hours of child development training annually

Be certified in Safe Sleep and Shaken Baby Syndrome trainings prior to starting

Have a negative TB test within the last year

Be certified in Blood Borne Pathogens training

Child care experience preferred

Job duties include:

Interacting with children, parents, and staff

Getting down on children's level for play and teaching

Helping children go to the bathroom, potty-training, and/or diaper changing

Feeding children

Light to moderate cleaning chores

and much more

This job is part-time, with a potential for full-time hours depending on performance and schedules. Schedules vary weekly depending on children's schedules.
