JOB PURPOSE:

Build lasting professional relationships with current and prospective customers, finding the best Verizon Wireless products, services, and solutions to address customer’s needs, wants, and concerns.

DUTIES:

-Welcomes customers by greeting them; use qualifying, rapport building, presentation skills, closing skills, and product knowledge to find best solution for specific wireless needs.

-Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records in Verizon database and creating invoices from point of sale software, thoroughly goes over all paperwork, sets up new devices, and insures customer is happy and understands all nuances of billing, service, and their device, before leaving store.

-Collect cash and credit card payments for purchase of products and services.

-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all related sales goals.

-Sells to customers while adhering to strict ethics code, never lying to or misleading a customer.

Completes all sales and leadership training, which may include at home writing and reading assignments for the purpose of maximizing employee sales and management potential.

-Follows all opening and closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and security of all cash and assets at location as well dropping nightly deposit.

-Attends any mandatory meetings set by manager or district manager, all which are established to ensure product knowledge, efficiency in logistical management, and in the facilitation of achieving weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Sales, management, customer service, and or other professional experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite. Other qualities we seek, some already mentioned, are a prerequisite: positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to problem solve and grasp new ideas, works well on a team, stays calm under pressure, effective people and communication skills, friendly and detail oriented customer service approach, gumption to consistently meet and exceed sales and other team goals, refusal to compromise integrity of self or employer for any reason! A desire to push yourself and widen the spectrum of your comfort zone to allow for personal and professional growth. And finally, you will need basic math skills.
