Lead Analyst Programmer-DJRJob ID225079LocationHealth SciencesFull/Part TimeFull-TimeFavorite JobRegular/TemporaryRegularOpeningFull Time 40 hours Grade 055 ISD AnalyticsSchedule8 AM-5 PMResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The Dedicated Technical Resource (DTR) is an Information Systems Division (ISD) employee who will deliver focused reporting and business analysis for a specific department (“home department”). The DTR will have a dual reporting structure: an ISD manager who will direct work from a technical perspective, ensuring that all ISD processes and standards are followed, and a home department manager who will train to department standards, assign, and prioritize reporting requests according to business needs. Primary responsibilities include development of departmental and ad hoc reports in Crystal Reports, SQL tools (SSRS/T-SQL), Epic Systems reporting tools, Power BI and/or Tableau. Responsibilities:Uses and refines if needed clinical, financial and business requirements related to reporting applications support for the “home department” eco-system of applications. Assess and estimate requests to determine scope and effort required.Develop complex logic for reports and data analysis using advanced functionality within Microsoft SQL tools (SSRS/T-SQL), Crystal Reports, Epic Systems reporting tools and/or Tableau/Power BI or other reporting applications. Integrate visual analytic techniques into reporting to enhance end users understanding of information.Prepare and present concise summaries to explain findings, limitations and recommendations based upon actionable insight.Understand and learn EMR workflows to translate between the transactional system and the data repository. Obtain and maintain Data Model and/or reporting tools certifications or training as needed and/or maintain current knowledge via self-study for reporting tools and reporting programming techniques.Perform proper testing and validation techniques to insure accuracy and integrity of reported or extracted data and document the unit test and validation processes used.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering and 4-5 years of related experience preferably in a supervisory capacity

or equivalent combination of education and experience

SQL, SSRS, Healthcare information experience, experience with Epic reporting & analytics project management preferred. Critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, proven customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
