Plastics Material Technician

Legend Brands is seeking a Plastics Material Technician on the day shift at our Burlington WA facility. Retrieve materials, supplies, and components from inventory and transport to production area; mixes base materials and colorants; recycles packaging materials. Assures FIFO and material identification are maintained. Ensure materials and components are accurately transferred and located for production use. Come work for an essential business. Position Overview:

Confirm transfers were completed accurately in D365 on materials, concentrates, packaging, and inserts.

Complete daily production reporting using D365, ensure accuracy of material consumption for production receipts, report scrap, purge, and close work orders

Clean and load dryers. Clean-out and setup grinders and blenders during changeovers to ensure proper blend ratios and quality controls

Perform cycle counts and spot-check counts, locations, and part numbers and verify with the computerized inventory.

Assist with mold setups and changeovers, including hanging molds, connecting water lines, changing robot end of arm tools and programs, loading molding machine parameters, and starting the process.

Support Production, including as a Manual/Production Operator as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledgeable with ERP or WMS system, Microsoft D365 preferred.

3-5 years of previous production experience preferred (Plastic Injection Molding a plus).

1-3 years of previous experience in a warehouse environment working with inventory and materials

Previous forklift experience preferred.

Ability to multi-task, organize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Process-driven and with strong attention to detail.
