Manages the office responsibilities of the department. Works independently as well as in close collaboration with the Program Director. Performs supervisory, coordinating and support functions for program staff and administrative staff within YVFWC. Ensures effective functioning of clerical support for the department. May act as an Administrative Assistant to the Program Director. Manages a diverse workload to include administrative tasks, word processing, making telephone calls, scheduling, assisting with project completion, filing, replying to correspondence, and other similar tasks.Qualifications:Education: AA Degree or two years of relevant experience may be substituted.

Experience: Minimum of three years including (2) years with complex business office skills and at least (1) year of leadership experience.

Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Current Washington State driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Ability to plan, coordinate and organize work projects; ability to make professional oral and written presentations; ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public, patients, and staff; knowledge of management information systems; ability to learn and use a variety of computer programs in support of the clinic's mission; ability to assist in the management of the clinic's grant budgets and expenditures; ability to utilize appropriate channels to report pertinent information in a timely manner; ability to interact effectively with patients, families, clinic team members and others; ability to maintain confidentiality of information; ability to complete delegated activities, projects within an appropriate time span; ability to participate in employee relations and community relations' activities; and the ability to plan and coordinate the delivery of training sessions performed by other staff; and the ability to compose clear, concise and organized written materials, including letters, reports and contract language.
