Operations manager duties include but are not limited to:
Objective:
The operations manager position will perform all dispatch/logistics, reservations, general operational functions for our company as needed.
Checking chauffeurs in for their shift and monitor hours of service
Monitoring chauffeurs locations
Notify chauffeurs of changing traffic/weather conditions
Notify chauffeurs of changes to arriving and departing flights
Assign vehicles to chauffeurs for new reservations
Taking calls from passengers
Take overflow calls from both sales team and passenger service agents
Assist reservations with changes to reservations and cancellations
Maintaining safe functionality of all vehicles working closely with fleet manager
Monitoring of all affiliate trips
Demonstrates an “Extra Mile Service” attitude and provides courteous, friendly service to internal and external clients by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries and requests.
Work with internal staff and office manager on projects
FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST! WE ARE A 24/7/365 INDUSTRY. WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS WILL BE REQUIRED on a rotating schedule.
This position will be cross trained to cover Customer Service and Reservations.
Operations manager competencies:
“Extra Mile Service” focus and attitude
Experience in the hotel, hospitality, car rental industries is a plus!
Proficient in the English language including written, speaking and understanding skills
Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills
Strong professional integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
MUST BE PROFICIENT with Computer and office skills including typing up to 30 words per minute
High Degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Team work
Operations manager work environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copier, phones.
Knowledge of Multi-line phone system preferred (Polycom Phones/TPX Communication)
Proficient of MS Suite and Google Docs,
Knowledge of Reservation software systems and GPS systems is helpful.
