Description This Senior Project Manager position will join an existing team to work onsite with a local client. This long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity is based in the Flint, Michigan area. You could manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan, as their Senior Project Manager. Submit an application today!Your responsibilities- Collaborates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap- Assure that the functional requirements are met, achievable, and tracked- Watches and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner- Joins with Product Owner/Product Manager to provide that the product vision and high-level business objectives are error-free and doable- Supervises project planning- Supports to manage, classify, and identify risk for functional improvement requests- Plans schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product- Behaves as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies- Verifies project with exact ticket workflows and boards- Closely cooperating with the Product Owner/Product Manager, QA Manager, Business Analyst, and Product Specialist- Coordinates the daily stand-ups, ensuring they are focused, timely, and brief- Works closely together and communicates with developers, designers, stakeholders, and technical team members- Coordinates and directs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments- Contributes to manage dependencies among cross-product teams- Help the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products- Assembles with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects- Acquires information from technical leads, QA leads and business analysts into counsel- Offers detailed reporting to management on milestone completion, project status, and risk assessments- Directs deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Dev Ops, and Product OwnerFor immediate consideration, please email a copy of your resume to Requirements - Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues - This position requires experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs- Excellent problem-solving skills- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines- Security Incident Handling experience- Disaster Recovery Business Continuity experience preferred- Solid understanding of risk management- KPI Reporting experience- Application development experience highly desired- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight- Prior success in project management, supervisory leadership, and operational management- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills - This most important thing for any applicant to this position is to be familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies - If you can demonstrate that you are flexible and focused, this position is for you - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have a Project Management (PMP) certification- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures- 3 plus years of relevant Project Management experience - You might be a good fit for this position if you have proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
