This long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity is based in the Mooresville, Indiana area. If you can handle complex end-user support issues and provide support to team members by focusing and restoring service to the end users, this job might be for you. Another important piece of knowledge you should have as the Help Desk Analyst is how your role relates to IT projects and IT Service Management initiatives. If you understand Incident, Problem, Change Management and other processes, you will have an edge over the competition. Also, how these processes work together to provide superior support and high availability of our business. We're looking for a Service Desk Analyst who can represent the Service Desk by liaising with 2nd and 3rd level teams to help transition new and changing services. This position sometimes includes creating knowledge articles and arranging training for other Service Desk Analysts when needed. The responsibilities for this Analyst job can sometimes include covering alternative shifts when needed. We're seeking a self-confident, motivated person with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills who enjoys a fast-paced, team-driven environment.Responsibilities- Facilitate user account management: Onboarding, change and departure processes- Troubleshoot end user issues: Provide root-cause analysis on various web and mobile applications; handle escalated tickets relating to server/network related issues- Understand concepts related to networks, servers, PCs, databases, proprietary systems, etc.- Understand and utilize ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.) and how they are used in a corporate environment- Maintain hardware and peripherals: Responsible for upgrading and replacing computer parts; handle documentation and asset inventory- Provide guidance to Tier 1 support and team members- Meet and exceed SLA standards: Close tickets in a timely manner, while upholding customer service standardsCandidates interested are advised to submit resumes or questions to Alysha Biemolt via or calling Requirements - In this position, the candidate will be tasked with analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction - This position is best filled with someone who has a combination of superior customer service skills and technical aptitude- 1+ years of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and VMware - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have technical skills to serve as escalation point for handling incidents and service requests related to application, operating system and other service related problems- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively - It is best if you have ITIL certification- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision- Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment- Quality experience with DHCP DNS- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365- Experience with Network Troubleshooting- Password Reset experience- Good understanding of Hardware Installation- General familiarity with MS Windows Server 2012- Practical knowledge of TCP/IP- Wide ranging experience with Comptia A+- Earlier work involving MS Windows 10- Proven knowledge of communication- Strong familiarity with Active Directory- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Windows Server 2008- Ticketing System experience desired- Working knowledge in one or more programming or scripting language Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
