Karpet & Flooring Mart is looking for the right outside salesperson to be an in home consultant for Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor Must have a background in outside sales and flooring. We have plenty of leads but candidate must be willing to prospect and develop b to b relationships. This is a ground floor opportunity for the right person. An entrepreneurial attitude and and comfortable with straight commission sales is needed. We are mill direct and have retail financing . Willingness and ability to use a crm program, outlook and salesforce.com is mandatory. The ability to use a spreadsheet to put together bids is mandatory. We offer leads generated by our marketing. The position is draw against commission with An aggressive bonus structure. Also includes car expense. Meet with homeowners and build rapport.

Inspect the house and measure to build a flooring proposal

Select products based on the customers wants and needs.

Adept and presenting product and selling projects with financing.

Prepare detailed proposals for flooring.

Knowledge of residential flooring products especially carpet luxury vinyl tile and laminates is key.

Ability to close at 70% is key.

Utilizing sales system to optimize sales calls funnel 10 step process.

Complete job site survey reports for all new customer job sites and existing customer job sites

Mastering the sales representative position

Provide weekly sales updates to sales management Willingness and ability to use CRM

Develop and maintain sales forecasts on anticipated territory sales

Exceed sales goals in assigned territory

Coordinate sales calls and associated paper work with inside sales/sales support

Exerting sales effort necessary to meet sales quota

Achieve sales goals for assigned accounts and assigned sales area

Achieve and exceed territory sales goals

Leads will be provided but candidate has the willingness and ability to warm call.

Conduct sales presentations to customers

Succeed in company sponsored training classes

Ability to accurately measure projects and specify products.

Ability to calculate projects accurately and close with payment options.
