Job Summary
Summary: Performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to Plumbing and Gas fittings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in making decisions on all normal and complex repairs; reports major problems to the maintenance supervisor.
Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing and mechanical systems, or the facilities of any related systems.
Uses power and hand tools to perform necessary job functions.
Cleans, lubricates, services, repairs or diagnoses malfunction of plumbing and mechanical building equipment.
Reviews work of outside work of mechanical and outside vendors.
Reports on and repairs discrepancies as assigned.
Analyzes and corrects complex building system problems, alone or as part of a team.
Maintains logs, performs rounds and completes work orders, tests and inspections.
Makes recommendations for modification or improvement of preventive maintenance systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Five years of experience as a licensed plumber, preferably but not necessarily in an institutional setting.
Must have a current Journeymen's license in the State of NH. Gas fitters license a plus.
Valid State of NH driver's license.
