Cleaner Full Time

We are needing to hire a Day and Night Porter in Pocahontas AR. The day/night porter is responsible for keeping the premises in a clean and orderly condition throughout the scheduled shift. Pays specific attention to the restrooms and public areas for basic cleanliness and stocking of supplies throughout a work shift. A criminal background check may be required. Previous commercial cleaning/housekeeping experience is a major plus.Day Porter shift schedule - 7am to 3pm Mon-Fri

Night Porter shift schedule - 3pm to 11pm Mon-Fri

These are full time positions, 40 hours per week. We offer health benefits and paid vacation/holidays to eligible full time employees. Previous commercial cleaning/housekeeping experience is a major plus.

Major Responsibilities:

Clean main entryways and ensure satisfactory appearance

Inspect, clean, disinfect and restock public restrooms as needed but as a minimum of twice a day.

Police common area hallways 2 times per day.

Clean drinking fountains as needed.

Police common area break rooms after lunch time.

Perform building walkthrough to ensure all duties have been completed properly the previous night. Correct any found issues, report defects to SG360 supervision.

Assist with moving furniture moving as requested.

Assist with set-up and tear down of tables and chairs of events and functions as requested.

Assist with replacing of lightbulbs throughout building when required.

Attempt to unclog toilets and sinks with a plunger before calling maintenance.

Removes fresh spots from carpets as discovered or notified. If unable to remove spots this is to be communicated to the night shift via proper communications channels. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Excellent work history

Previous experience with commercial cleaning/housekeeping

Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction

The ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding/fast-paced environment.

Reliable transportation

A criminal background check is required.
