69451BRJob Title:Pharmacy Technician (Part Time)Job Description:Cerner Corporation is currently seeking a part time Pharmacy Technician (1 shift per week) for our on-site health center for a large, local employer in Kansas City, KS. This health center has a proactive, educative approach where employees are motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles and practices.As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in preparing prescription medications under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. You will also oversee the acquisition of medications and pharmacy supplies and perform administrative duties such as answering phones, ringing up member purchases and stocking of inventory and supplies. At least 1 year of work experience in community or clinical pharmacy setting

Licensed as Pharmacy Technician in the state of Kansas or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Technician Certification with PTCB

Preferred Qualifications:Associate's degree in Health Care or related field

Current Basic Cardiovascular Life Support Certification

Ability to perform basic patient triage

Expectations:Must reside in or near the Kansas City Metro area

Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
