Mid-level Developer

Description Robert Half Direct is partnering with a leading software company seeking a mid-level Developer to join their team.The primary role of this position is to help the company deliver a quality software product to their customers by identifying, estimating, and clearly communicating complex issues in a timely and in a concise manner.The primary responsibilities of Developers include, writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of the company's software.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.• Investigates problem areas and follows the software development lifecycle.• Reviews code work for accuracy, functionality, and conducts peer reviews to determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code for internal use• Analyzes and performs code segments and/or to analyze the plans and schematics of the application currently working on• Creates and implements design plans• Automates tasks through appropriate tools and scripting• Performs validation and verification testing• Delegates tasks as appropriate to team members• Keeps up to date with industry trends and technology developments• Has extensive knowledge of software development and its' technologies• Ongoing analysis of work throughout entirety of projects assigned Requirements • 3-6 years' of software development experience• Proficient with C#• SQL experience• Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively in a team environment both internally and externally• Proficient at technical writing including developing training materials, administrative / installation guides for internal use• Demonstrate great skill in creativity and innovation, ability to thrive in a fast pace environment• Possess excellent communication skills• Ability to manage deadlines and possess strong analytical skills Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
