Job Title: Technical Lead-Platform IntegrationRemote until COVID lifts, then must be local to Troy, MI6 months+Description of Skills & Responsibilities:Exciting opportunity for a Contract IT Technical Lead to join at the ground floor of an enterprise class IT project that will replace the Commercial lending platform. This creative and energetic team will drive business and technology transformation to deliver next generation Commercial lending capabilities. The Team is being mobilized to participate at the beginning of the planning phase and will contribute through requirements, design, build, test and deployment phases.REQUIRED SKILLS7 years of experience working on large scale Enterprise IT projects in Technical roles and software developmentExperience leading technical workstreams that integrate IT systems via batch processing and real-time API’s with external servicesProven understanding of web service APIs (REST, SOAP) and XMLAbility to create scripts in Powershell, Python, Perl or other languageExperienced in data modeling, entity relationship diagramsAuthoring of structured query language (SQL) scriptsStrong ability to think through workflows and the characteristics that make each workflow different to re-engineer processes for efficiencyStrong experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, WaterfallData Warehouse integration, data mapping and design for batch interfaces via ETLUnderstanding of testing concepts through the software development lifecycle (unit, performance, regression) and capability to write test cases and test plansExcellent communicator - Ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate mannerExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExecute root cause analysis of systems and data issuesExcellent organizational skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldDESIRED SKILLSExperience in Financial services industry and Commercial lending domainExperience with AFS level III is a plusExperience with JIRACandidates Local to MI
