RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking a Software Development Program Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL.Responsibilities: Leads internal and external regulated software activities; application and program initiatives by providing oversight and management of the business needs analysis and software requirements for system enhancements and modifications requirements Manages and coordinates timelines, tasks and resources and anticipates, identifies, mitigates, troubleshoots, and resolves issues to include escalation of incidents when necessary Collaborates with internal users and external vendors to translate corporate/functional business and information objectives into a strategic/tactical business plan Consults within the IT organization to develop appropriate support for the IT-centric projects from various technology and service departments Designs, maintains and enforces governance policies Contributes to the long-term strategy and growth plan for software development Evaluates, facilitates and manages meetings with key stakeholders to review and map outexisting practices and identify efficiencies attainable through process alignment and/or improvements Facilitates the Regulated Software Steering Committee and leads all subcommittees Acts as liaison to external software vendor(s) product management team(s); ensuring continuous communication and status updates throughout software design, approval and development cycles Works with all internal IT teams to ensure an infrastructure that supports stable, well-designed, highly available, and properly maintained applications Supports and assists PMO project managers throughout software delivery cyclesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university. Five (5) or more years of IT software development related experience; program leadership, software business analysis; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience PMI Project Management; CAPM or PMP desired and IIBA Business Analyst; CBAP preferred Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures required to perform business needs analysis and software requirements In-depth understanding of blood center operations and related system support workflows A basic understanding of network issues and their relation to application and database functions Ability to analyze and document complex business processes Ability to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities or work direction change Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to customers and staff Ability to organize work for timely completion Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships, influence and build consensus with those contacted in the course of work Skill in Microsoft Office applicationsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
