A UX Team Member at UWM is passionate about creating elegant experiences that align business goals with user's needs. You will work with business stakeholders and the UX Team to create the best possible user experience. This position will allow you to have wide reaching influence over the relationship between our users and UWM.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Conduct user research to understand user needs
  • Meet with business stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Create reports and present findings to stakeholders
  • Create wireframes/mock ups
  • Stewardship of the United Design System
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required:
  • Demonstrable experience in UX design for native mobile applications
  • Ability to assess visual, interactive, and experiential design quality and be able to clearly articulate those reasons to technical and non-technical team members
  • Visual, Interactive, Experiential Design Experience
  • Experience with modern design tools (E.g. Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma)
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with creating wire frames / mock-ups / live demos
  • Experience with technical writing

Preferred:
  • Degree in Human Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Interaction Design
  • Knowledge of creating / maintaining design systems / style guides / pattern libraries
  • Experience with User Testing/Research
  • Experience with managing/analyzing user data
