What You’ll Do
  • Author, review and approve technical designs
  • Mastery of domain programming language
  • Engineer extensible solutions with the team in mind and can fix complex bugs
  • Review code to ensure it is functionally correct and consistent with the technical design
  • Accountable for domain dependencies and critical paths
  • Accountable for complex stories and integration or business requirements
  • Solve technical problems using cutting edge technologies and best practices.
  • Should able to propose different ways to solve the same problem and showcase why one option is better than others.
  • Ensure all aspects of the technical design are correctly incorporated
  • Contribute technical expertise to all projects as required
  • Contribute to research and implementing POC’s as required.

What You Know
  • 10+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
  • Should have 2+ years of experience as a lead.
  • Java-Micro Services – Java 8/9, Spring Boot, some messaging background preferably Kafka.
  • Experience in a microservices architecture is a big plus.
  • Well versed with data structures and algorithms
  • Proficient experience with SOA, Rest Services and Spring, Spring Batch, Spring boot
  • Embody passion for new technology and open source and a believer in continuous improvement of skills
  • Experienced in GIT, SVN, or other distributed version control system
  • Deep understanding & experience in Java, design concepts, patterns, and coding standards
  • Independent thinker that can identify problems and provide creative solutions
  • Pivotal Cloud Foundry or other Cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented programming and design patterns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience and ability to lead the team by providing design and technical guidance and also proactively any remove blockers to help them progress efficiently.
  • Back End Development including Relational Database Management Systems
  • Experience with No SQL database like Cassandra
  • Exposure to Front end web development with technologies like JavaScript
  • Good communicator and team player

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications or related field
