Involved in test planning, writing manual and automated test cases/scripts, and test execution. Responsible for analyzing manual and automated test scenario results. Involved in projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. Participate in multiple agile programs as a project team member.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceDefines, documents, and executes test plans to ensure quality software productsDefines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status Performs both back end system and front end UI triage and troubleshooting when identifying defectsDetermine manual test cases that are candidates for automationScript test scenarios using the automation tool’s UI test creator and basic scriptingDelivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partnersSupports quality audits across team functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followedEnsure alignment between business operational strategies and quality assurance of our productsDiagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolutionDevelop, modify, enhance and implement test plans designed to support new or existing business initiativesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeExperience with automation scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Ruby or similarProficient in test tools (HPQC, TestRail, etc.,).Excellent communicator (written and verbal): ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to focus on deadlines and deliverablesSelf-starter, self-motivated, driven individualAbility to work well with shifting prioritiesAbility to work with cross-functional team of internal and external resourcesKeen attention to detailDisplay professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretionCritical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitudeExcellent organizational skillsUnderstanding of database schemas and querying toolsExcellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)Creative solving of technical problems to ensure the ability to translate technical requirements into test plansAbility to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environmentExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent understanding of test automation framework and toolsExperience working on customer facing applications including websites, native apps, and backend servicesExperience with content management systems preferredExperience with agile software delivery teamsEducationBA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experienceRelated Work Experience3-7 years system development, testing, and/or business experienceWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environmentThe health and safety of our employees and candidates is very important to us.
