Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry in their Charlotte, NC and Richardson, TX and Pennington, NJ location. This is a 12 month + contract position. Description:
  • Technical Project Management (TPM) position supporting the Wealth Management and US Trust domestic branches
  • The expected work includes the following but is not limited to Project Management; working with the GWIM Branch Project team, vendors, and site contacts for scheduling, implementation, testing, and reporting on the Branch projects
  • The projects will include normal business day, evening, and weekend activities
  • The candidate(s) must be able to work a flexible work schedule to accommodate the project schedule
  • Manage resource allocation and prioritize decisions according to business strategies and priorities
  • Assume ownership of and proactively resolve outstanding technical issues which eliminate business risk and exposure (Day2)
  • Manage all technology vendors, project requirements, completion dates
  • Work as the Branch technology escalation contact for the vendors, GTS, and GWM organizations
  • Lead all aspects of process analysis and improve project workflow
  • Maintain existing standards and procedure
  • Chair conference calls with the client, real estate and vendors to establish branch technology requirements and set expectations
  • Send Branch Information Survey, review project user/workstation information
  • Confirm date, the expected delivery date of any equipment, coordinate storage, and on-site coverage
  • Verify equipment on-site, Inform BSA of vendor deployment for the survey
  • Confirm branch technology activities to begin
  • Coordinate vendors and branch office personnel for numerous deployment services initiatives
  • Submit Roars request for any static IP assignment required
  • Maintain communication with vendors to ensure project milestones are met
  • Coordinate all vendors and installation processes
  • Drive project updates and status on weekly Wednesday vendor call
  • Core TPM activities as directed
  • Demonstrates an understanding of customer's tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of the assigned project(s)
  • Candidate(s) must manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment, planning, and reporting techniques
  • Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan
  • Establish basic scope control procedures
  • Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation
  • Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gathers input and feedback
  • Analyzes and reports project status and research information; monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content
  • Effectively assists in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines
  • TPM must respond to operational issues and scope changes within defined areas of responsibility while progressing on project work assigned
  • Collaborates and communicates with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals, or implementation
  • The candidate will assist in the development and implementation of back out for unsuccessful implementations
  • Assist in the development of project budgets in compliance with the company's financial practices

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years plus experience in project management, well versed in Microsoft Excel and Access a plus
  • The candidate(s) must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills; and be able to demonstrate those skills to a varying level of internal and external resources, to include senior leadership
  • The candidate should be self-motivated and be able to detect a major concern that should be escalated to management for resolution
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
