- Developing and implementing monitoring solutions for systems and ensure compliance with policies and implemented processes.
- Generate and maintain security documentation for system(s) to include SSP, procedures, continuous monitoring plans, security impact analysis.
- Assess the performance of the security controls in alignment with agency policies.
- Identify and evaluate potential IA security risks and provide guidance to corrective or recovery actions to be implemented by operations.
- Perform system audits and assess security related factors and maintain security documentation.
- Review and understand agency policy and manuals and ways for systems to implement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in systems security.
- Understanding of NIST publications, Risk Management Framework compliance
- Able to review and understand agency policy and manuals and ways for systems to implement
- Create reports
- Cybersecurity Risk Management, Technology Risk Management
- Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings
- Exercises a limited degree of latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
