Operations Security PlannerThe Operations Security Planner for ASM Research is responsible for creating cyber-intelligence tools/methods and performing research and analysis in order to mitigate and eliminate data and cyber security risks. He/she will design and develop acceptance criteria for cybersecurity architecture.

Job Duties
  • Developing and implementing monitoring solutions for systems and ensure compliance with policies and implemented processes.
  • Generate and maintain security documentation for system(s) to include SSP, procedures, continuous monitoring plans, security impact analysis.
  • Assess the performance of the security controls in alignment with agency policies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential IA security risks and provide guidance to corrective or recovery actions to be implemented by operations.
  • Perform system audits and assess security related factors and maintain security documentation.
  • Review and understand agency policy and manuals and ways for systems to implement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in systems security.

Other Job Specific Skills
  • Understanding of NIST publications, Risk Management Framework compliance
  • Able to review and understand agency policy and manuals and ways for systems to implement
  • Create reports
  • Cybersecurity Risk Management, Technology Risk Management
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings
  • Exercises a limited degree of latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
