Description of WorkGN, Salary Range or Recruitment Range: GN 06 $31,200.00 - $48,058.00This posting is for an Administrative Specialist I position in the Division 9 ROW Unit. This Administrative Specialist I position is responsible for preparing the needed agreements and forms used in the daily operations of the Division ROW Unit. The Administrative Specialist position is responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, ordering office supplies and distributing mail to the appropriate office personnel. This position manages rent of approximately 40 properties. This position is responsible for creating and processing PO’s for negotiating consultants (currently under contract with 6 firms on multiple projects). This position also assists in processing tax prorations, appraisal requests, closings, and payment for legal services. This position is also in charge of maintaining purchase orders, processing invoices, and creating requisitions. The Administrative Specialist position is responsible for processing actions in BEACON, is the ROW Unit HR contact and maintains personnel files. This position will use a variety of software’s: i.e. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access), SAP, BEACON & NeoGov. Must have proficient computer experience using Access, Word and Excel. Possess general mathematical skills, significant vocabulary/grammar skills for prooing correspondence, reports, and other documents. Ability to schedule and coordinate a variety of appointments, meetings, and/or conference calls.
