The Rogue Valley Manor, The West Coasts Premiere Senior Living Community located in the heart of Southern Oregon’s wine country is seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an Executive Chef position managing multi-unit operations to oversee all culinary activities for our five dining venues and robust catering and event operations. Our residents and guests enjoy a fine dining experience and the ambiance of our dining rooms with spectacular views of the valley and surrounding mountains and our fast casual concept in our Bistro supports their active lifestyles.Who you are: The successful candidate will have the ability to operate effectively in a diverse environment while maintaining a positive, respectful, productive and compliant work environment in accordance with State and company policies and objectives. Equally important is a passion for food, a creative flair, and a gift for sharing the wonders of cuisine with others. The position also requires excellent leadership skills, a strong culinary management background, and a solid track record. Must have a creative palate with a sense of current dining trends as well as experience managing and developing large teams. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper storage and handling procedures is required. Relocation package available for the right candidate.What you’ll do: Responsibilities will include purchasing, creative menu and recipe development, control of food, supply & labor costs, the development and monitoring of systems to maintain daily operations and the development and success of your teams. ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certificate is required within 90 days of hire and a Culinary Arts degree and Certification through the American Chefs Federation is preferred.
