Application Support Analyst

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is looking for an Application Support Specialist to join our Proprietary Trading Services team in our Philadelphia area office. As part of our team, you will be working in our Command Center, side by side with our developers and business partners, participating in the support and management of our production trading environment. Your role requires quick assessment, triage and resolutions of technical issues impacting our environment and business operations.

• Provide daily support of proprietary trading systems that our crucial to our business
• Coordinate, implement and support daily system level changes, in a Windows and Linux environment
• Troubleshoot trading related issues by investigating client/server log files
• Perform server side application support, job scheduling, and basic scripting
• Coordinate technical resources and communicate to both business and technology communities during production issues

• 2-5 years of experience in an application support , operations, systems administration, or related role required
• An understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux) is required
• Foundational knowledge of Powershell, Python, or Bash scripting
• Strong problem solving skills required, with the ability and desire to tackle new challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience within a financial services or trading environment is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred
