Minimum Required Skills:Embedded Software, C, AR, Augmented Reality, Program Manager, Project Manager, Mobile, 802.11, 4G, 3GIf you are a Embedded AR Program Manger- Hands On C with experience, please read on!What You Will Be DoingOverview:This is a very high-visibility position developing Linux driver and embedded software for a variety of advanced wireless communications projects for a major social networking company- This person needs to have hands-on project management or program management experience where they can do hand on coding as well as help out with explaining the projects and working with the client to develop a strategy for the timeline and product implementation.The successful candidate has extensive experience with Linux drivers and software for wireless systems such as Wifi, 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ad, LTE, or Wimax. Candidate should be well versed in the verification of real-time software and hardware for wireless systems. Fluency in C is a must. . Deep familiarity Python, and with layer 2 and layer 3 IPv4 and IPv6 is also desirable.Experience with PHY layer link management, DSP, and RF calibration algorithms and architectures is highly desirable but not mandatory.MSEE, MSCE, or comparable STEM degree required. Candidates with strong math, RF, or physics background are highly encouraged to apply.Primary Skills:Real-time software for fixed wireless and mobile wireless systems.Physical layer verification: RF calibration, Tx pre-emphasis, Rx de-emphasis, phased array antenna beam steering, Tx power control, and Rx automatic gain control. Power-up DC offset and LO feedthrough compensation.Link-layer management software: TDMA frame allocation, DAMA, ARQ, Association, Acquisition, A-MPDU, and A-MSDUSystem power management: power load leveling and thermal management.Reliability: Watchdog managers, alarm management, shut down, and power up protocols for module activation/de-activation. SEU event detection and protection.Secondary Skills:Deep hands-on wireless experience (preferably 802.11ac or 802.11ad). some high-speed networking design experience also requiredSome experience with logic analyzer, protocol analyzers, network test equipment (Keysight, Xena, Ixia) desirableGood communicator, written, and verbal.
