Senior Developer

Stefanini Group is looking for a Senior Developer in Michigan! Position Description: Developer position responsible to provide end to end automation solutions for infrastructure tasks and processes for relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle) in the client data Centers and plants. The work will be performed in the Dearborn area. Collaborates with DB Engineering, DB Operations and other Service teams to develop and support automation for DB Services. Occasional off-shift work to provide on-call coverage for production-support incidents and to support scheduled changes to applications after hours is required. Skills Required: 5+ years of Software development experience Experience with Agile development methodology Experience with PowerShell scripting Experience with VMware vRA/vRO Experience with Relational Databases (SQL Server) Experience with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories Experience with Microsoft Windows and Windows Clustering Experience with working in a Virtualized Server environment Working knowledge of Chef Habitat Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally) Knowledge of ITIL Processes . Familiar with Cloud technologies Experience Preferred: API development experience Experience with other scripting tools (.NET, Ruby, Python) Experience with Terraform Experience with Release Engineering process Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines Experience with other Relational Databases (Oracle, DB2) Experience with No-SQL Databases Experience with Backup technologies Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Experience with Linux Education Required: Bachelor's degree in an IT field related to Software Engineer or Database Administration
