The Senior Product Manager, Automotive will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering, defining and prioritizing product and automotive OEM customer requirements. The Sr. Product Manager will collaborate closely with the MEDIA User Experience Design team, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Programming, Customer Care, OEM Accounts, IT, Legal, and other corporate stakeholders to clearly communicate and document the features, requirements, and product status for assigned OEM in-vehicle audio applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for the product definition and management of automotive productsWork with automotive OEM partners and internal MEDIA teams to define and document new automotive audio service feature requirements.Make real-time decisions for assigned programs as the subject matter expert for product features and functionalityWork closely with other Product Managers, UX designers, Engineering, Data Scientists, IT and external partners prioritize the workload of the API and back-end teamsCreate user stories, acceptance criteria and develop a prioritized backlogWork closely with other product managers to provide a consistent experience across all of MEDIA productsPerforms other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:BS/MS in Engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent experience5+ years of total professional experience3+ years in Product Management of consumer digital / software productsExperience in Product Management and/or development of complex serving systems for web and/or mobile applicationsStreaming media experience a big plusAgile training and experience preferredKnowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum software development methodologies

Requirements and General Skills:Strong knowledge in media and entertainmentExperience in Product ManagementUser Experience savvy and the ability to drive decisions and work from a "user-first" standpoint, balancing technical constraints with the goal of creating a superior User Experience for MEDIA subscribersAbility to utilize and interpret data to drive and support product decisions

Technical Skills:Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure e.g. Amazon Web ServicesKnowledge of Internet security systemsExperience with Agile management tools Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) desirable
