Seasonal Office Assistant

A locally owned bakery since 1992, Piroshky Piroshky has been serving Seattle from its historic Pike Place location for over two decades. In recent years, our company has grown to multiple locations. Our company continues to expand and grow, and we are seeking creative, passionate, and loyal individuals to join our team.

We are currently seeking a seasonal office assistant to join our team through the next few months. Ideally, the candidate we bring into our work family will grow with us as and be open as opportunities present themselves. This person will be responsible for the administrative support of 3 retail locations, a commissary kitchen, and an online presence and store.

Previous experience in customer service and in an office setting is required.

Some things that are important for us in considering a candidate:

Must be 18 years or older

Dependable transportation

Experience in customer service

Proficiency in computer programs- Microsoft outlook, excel, word, etc.

Attention to detail

Flexible Work Schedule- weekend availability is required

Ability to evaluate and understand the uniqueness of our product and brand

Comfortable working in an office setting, sometimes sitting for extended periods of time

Desire and ability to offer innovative and creative ideas that lend to a growing local small business

Responsibilities include :

Handle incoming phone calls with excellent customer service

Receive and distribute incoming mail

Filing, office cleaning, printing

Routing drivers for deliveries

Support packing department as needed

Ordering items for stores based on manager requests and business needs

Processing customer orders and refunds, as needed

Other miscellaneous administrative tasks

Ability to:

lift at least 20lbs

be punctual

work independently

adapt to changing work environment
