Job Description

We are looking for an Employee Experience assistant (32 hours per week) for our Amsterdam office. In this role, you support the Employee Experience Advisor in creating the best Employee Experience for all our employees. This means more specifically, you are responsible for all office-management-related tasks and the (administrative) HR support.

What you'll be doingCurrently we are all working completely from home, in line with the COVID-19 government advice. Some of the tasks below are of course only applicable when we can open the office again.

  • You are responsible for all office-related tasks, including the following:
    • You make sure we have the best office in Amsterdam, where everything works well and our employees have a great workplace;
    • You take care of the office supplies and groceries for the office;
    • You support employees in creating a nice workplace at home;
    • You are an internal and external person to contact (for suppliers, our building manager, employees, etc.);
    • You send postcards and gifts to employees and customers;
    • You organize (digital) employee events (for example Escape room, pub quiz, etc.).
  • You support in HR:
    • You make sure our contracts are processed correctly and fast in different systems;
    • You make sure that the input for our payroll is prepared correctly and on time;
    • You arrange visa applications and 30% ruling arrangements for our expats and guide them in this process;
    • You make sure that employees reach out to you with their questions and concerns;
    • You proactively come up with new ideas and initiatives that contribute to a great Employee Experience.

Qualifications

Who you are

  • You have a people-first mindset, combined with a clear, accessible and friendly communication style;
  • You have a positive attitude;
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented and you come up with new ideas and initiatives;
  • You have great administrative skills and work accurately, with an eye for detail;
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English;
  • You are flexible and enjoy working in an environment that changes quickly;
  • You are open-minded, curious and you embrace diversity;
  • Experience in a similar position is an advantage.
