Participate in product definition stage of the product life-cycle by providing detailed input on/developing electrical and software/firmware systems requirements and design documentation2.) Conduct hardware definitions for new products by developing point-to-point wiring schematics, electrical component specifications and providing electrical equipment fabrication oversight 3.) Troubleshoot any issues in reference to installation, commissioning and start-up activities 4.) Provide phone support for existing customers 5.) Develop and support in-house automated product testers and data acquisition projects for product development and testing 6.) Develop project schedules 7.) Coordinate integrated product team activities 8.) Track subsystem technical status (mechanical, electrical, software)What You Need for this PositionYou will have a proven background in automatic control systems, electrical hardware design/troubleshooting experience- both at circuit board and system levels, development and implementation. Specific must haves are as follows: 1.) BSEE or MSEE in an engineering discipline 2.) 2+ years of professional working experience as an Electrical Controls Engineer 3.) Strong background in PLC programming 4.) Experience with Microsoft C#/.NET Application Development 5.) Control system installation, commissioning and start-up6.) Motion control systems- including rotary and linear servo motors 7.) Three-phase power systems 8.) Application experience in controls/instrumentation and design/simulation of control systems PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1.) Embedded C programming experience 2.) ARM Cortex M series processor development experience 3.) Understanding of electronic systems at the circuit board level 4.) National Instruments Data Acquisition Hardware 5.) National Instruments LabVIEW Software 6.) National Instruments TestStand Software 7.) hazardous Location Machine Design8.)
