Python Developer Contract to Hire 85-95K

Vaco is looking for a python developer for one of Nashville's largest healthcare organizations. This will be a fully remote, 6 month contract to hire opportunity. Pay based on experience. The team is currently looking for a backend focused developer to help change table design, improve queries, etc. The must haves are 2-3 years in immersive databases (MySQL OR Postgres), Ability to manipulate database using APIs, application development experience in Python. Core Skill Preferences

• Either:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS (or similar relevant field) and 2 years of web application development experience, OR
  • 6 years of web application development experience

• Experience with and knowledge of:
• 3+ years Object-oriented programming in production (Java, Python, etc)
• 5+ years working in RDBMS systems (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, etc.)
• 3+ years working in backend technologies
• MVC frameworks
• REST API architecture
