Agile Delivery LeadLocation: Wilmington, DEDuration: 11 months with possible contract to hire Description:As an Agile Delivery Lead, you'll support your teams toward high performance by empowering them to leverage the Agile methods, thus enabling quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the team. The Agile Delivery Lead will optimize team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team. General Responsibilities:Ensures team(s) maintain focus on quality and continuous deliveryProvides visibility into delivery targets, commitments and progress and integrates Agile & Lean principles into team practices and work productsBe well managed – understand and coach the team on delivery controls/compliance to minimize operational/reputational riskUnderstands/stays current on domain architecture and targets to identify upstream/downstream dependencies and to support the team in risk managementProactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)Supports team's automation (testing, pipelines, deployments)/DevOps journeyCoaches PO/team on backlog refinement and prioritizationUtilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improveActs as an Agile mentor/coach to other Scrum Masters or any Agile role Basic Qualifications:At least 6 years of Agile Delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologiesAt least 6 years of Technology Project Delivery experience Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree7+ years of agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe frameworksAgile certifications to include: CSM, CSP, PMI's ACP, SAFe, PMP or Lean Six Sigma7+ year of experience using Jira or Confluence Call notes:Team and Role Info:Regulatory change needs to be made in core banking system , so there is an additional team being set up, This is where the need is.Team will be a mix of associates and contractors5 Engineers and 1 tech lead and 1 product Owner Top Skills:Depth of experience and personality is more important than number of yearsDive in and solve complex problems Knowledge of Agile FrameworkNot looking for coaching experience, person needs to be more hands on. Pragmatic in their approachWill have high visibility so needs to be comfortable talking to leadershipShould have some technical understanding, talk about architecture, code pipeline, able to describe the architecture of the environment they have worked in, Do not need to have technical experience themselves but should be able to talk to highly technical person. Explain code pipeline, some knowledge of AWS. Help pull data out of JIRA (must have as there is a heavy reporting piece in this project) and use Confluence to provide status update for CIO weekly or monthly. Should understand Scrum and Kanban framework.Safe not needed
