Title: Windows System Engineer (w/ PowerShell)

Description: STG is a Preferred Vendor of a major Automotive Firm in MI. The client is looking for a Windows Systems Engineer with PowerShell Scripting development experience. Selected candidate will be expected to work on site in Auburn Hills 100% of the time

Required Skills:
  • 5+ Years of programing/scripting expertise with .NET, C-Sharp, and PowerShell.
  • 5+ Years of experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • 5+ Years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS and related technologies
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment
  • Code first mindset
  • Experience with automated testing (Inspec or other similar tools)

Additional Skills:
  • Operations experience supporting IIS for a large enterprise
  • Fundamental understanding of modern platform technologies and industry standard methodologies
  • Technical certifications e.g. MCSA, MCSE, MCP, etc.
  • Agile/Lean methodologies experience
  • Provides guidance in the design, integration and maintenance of the technical infrastructure and services (all aspects of the technology lifecycle) to establish a platform.
  • Experience with the following software a plus: Chef, Habitat, Terraform, SQL Server.
  • Plans the testing of new versions of existing technical infrastructure and services through an integrated pipeline approach None
