Avaya Support - 3 years+ project

Title: Avaya Support - 3 years+ projectLocation: Jackson, MS, USALength: Long termRestriction: W2 or C2CDescription: Very long term project; initial PO for 3 years but expected to go for multiple years Webcam interview 2 days travel per month within state is required; expenses will be paid Common work tasks include:· Assist with configuration and installation of new Avaya systems· Check health of Avaya environment including trunking and adjunct systems· Work trouble and programming tickets· Acting as tier III support for more complicated troubles· Work with Telecom providers to address circuit issues· Deployment of new products and technologies in the Avaya portfolio Candidates must possess:· Minimum of 15 years of experience with Avaya systems· Experience with the following Avaya products:o Communication Manager 7.1.3o Session Manager 7.1.3o Call Management System R18o System Manager 7.1.3o Work Force Optimization 15.2· Experience with the following equipment:o Avaya G650/450/430so Spira SBCs· In depth knowledge and experience with real-time communications, voice, and video protocols including H.323 and SIP· Knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, WAN technologies, and QoSCandidates should be able to:· Be able to communicate with vendors and customers in a professional manner· Create accurate documentation for user consumption on new products and services that are rolled out· Train junior level staff on Avaya technologiesPreference will be given to candidates that possess the following:· Broadsoft Hosted VoIP products· Ability to automate routine tasks via python scripting
