Description Robert half is immediately interviewing eCommerce Directors for a fast growing online direct-to-consumer retailer out of the Decatur, AL area. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in sales, marketing, technology and management to deliver a brand and shopping experience for all customers. The Director of E-Commerce is responsible for accelerating sales growth and building a sustainable and flexible ecommerce footprint for the business. In addition, this individual will be responsible for strategizing, planning, developing and executing content plans, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, website traffic and product performance across all ecommerce efforts. This is a brand new opportunity for someone to master and manage the company's E-Commerce sales channel. Current Team Size: Warehouse/ Marketing - 35 total individuals. • 300-400% growth over the last 4 years.Seeking 7+ years' experience in building e-Commerce teams.Dress code: extremely casualAny Travel? less than 2 weeks' yearWho does this person Supervise? Will build a team below them in the future once the E-Commerce division is more built up and plans are in place to build outThe organization is branching out into a direct-to-consumer line and across various online sites.Start their own retail website - using their product and knowledge from the wholesale side.Top Keys: (Selling all B2B)1) Experience in multiple eCommerce platforms - theirs is internally built - handles FE/ eCommerce platform/ Order management system/ Packing/ Shipping/ QuickBooks as accounting software - Looking at some various ERP products - Bright Pearl, Shipwire - This individual will assist with a Shopify responsibility and SEO capabilities2) Someone who can execute ideas / B2B vs direct to consumer3) Amazon marketplace/ Positioning - how to get your products to the forefront.
