TOP REQUIRED:Chemistry background 1-2 years evenExperience with global chemical regulations such as chemical inventory 1-2 yearsExperience with safety data sheets and GHS classifications 1-2 yearsData managementJob Description:The Chemical Regulatory Engineer helps to ensure products are designed, engineered and delivered by Client, in accordance with customer needs and regulatory standards and regulations. As a member of the Quality team, the Regulatory Engineer will provide guidance to business teams on chemical compliance requirements for Custom Standards requests and quotations. The Chemical Regulatory Engineer will work with ACG regulatory and country teams as needed to ensure these requirements are implemented for Chemistries and Supplies Division (CSD) custom standards products.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory needs.Review daily customer requests for quotation of Custom Chemical Standards. Evaluate chemical composition against selected country chemical sales/import regulations and determine whether the standard can be sold/imported.Document regulatory processes to ensure alignment with Quality and regulatory standards.Maintain and track custom chemical standards metrics and product compliance documentationAs needed, collaborate with business Project Teams and ACG regulatory staff to ensure all chemical regulatory requirements are identified and implemented.As needed, coordinate product documentation to obtain chemical regulatory permits, licenses and registrations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Health & Safety, Quality Engineering or other regulatory-based discipline.Ability to perform multiple product reviews to deliver results as needed to meet turnaround times.Demonstrated teamwork skills and ability to collaborate and work effectively in teams across different businesses, functions and geographiesExcellent communication, data management and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Excel and SAPPreferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of chemical analysis methods and instrumentationKnowledge of ISO and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 17034)Experience working with chemical product regulationsApplicants must provide their phone number.
