Avaya Support Engineer

Position :Avaya Support EngineerDuration : 12 Months +Location : Jackson, MSCommon work tasks include:Assist with configuration and installation of new Avaya systemsCheck health of Avaya environment including trunking and adjunct systemsWork trouble and programming ticketsActing as tier III support for more complicated troublesWork with Telecom providers to address circuit issuesDeployment of new products and technologies in the Avaya portfolioCandidates must possess:Minimum of 15 years of experience with Avaya systemsExperience with the following Avaya products:o Communication Manager 7.1.3o Session Manager 7.1.3o Call Management System R18o System Manager 7.1.3o Work Force Optimization 15.2Experience with the following equipment:o Avaya G650/450/430so Spira ClientsIn depth knowledge and experience with real-time communications, voice, and video protocols including H.323 and SIPKnowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, WAN technologies, and QoSCandidates should be able to:Be able to communicate with vendors and customers in a professional mannerCreate accurate documentation for user consumption on new products and services that are rolled outTrain junior level staff on Avaya technologiesThanks & Regards
