This is a Contract position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)Location: Cambridge, MA Compensation: Medical Role: QC Microbiology Analyst Primary Skills: HTML Role Description: The QC Microbiology Analyst must have at least 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities: - Analyst will train on first shift before being transferred to third shift.- Perform sample receipt and aseptic sample aliquoting- Perform routine environmental monitoring and critical utility sampling- Perform routine microbiology assays- Perform inventory and stocking of QC lab- Reviews data and enter results into LIMS system- Coordinate sample shipment to external labs- Open alert and action level quality records- Perform routine laboratory preventative maintenance and cleaning- Revise technical documents (SOPs, Work Instructions)Required Skills: - Bachelors degree in biological sciences- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally with a diverse group of individualsSpecial Requirements: - Ability to gown and gain access to cleanroom areas- Position requires frequent standing, bending, stopping, and the ability to lift 40 lbs- Ability to work with Spor-Klenz- Position is considered essential personnel and may be required to staff the lab during inclement weather or other internal/external emergency situations- Occasional off shift hours may be required to meet business needs.
