Eliassen Group is currently assisting a large financial client in the Baltimore area find a Project Manager to add to their Marketing department. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years' experience and will work directly with Product Owners on multiple different projects including Human Resources, Creative, and Marketing. The Project Manager has responsibility for the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing projects, assigned to them, for various internal partners and corporate initiatives. The Project Manager assists in the development and execution of tactical marketing solutions for a specific business need. Working in a consultative relationship with internal Business Partners, the Project Manager monitors Marketing Intake Request (MIR) inbox, assesses business goals and objectives for project requests, reviews creative briefs established by Business Partners, compiles a Statement of Work (SOW) for new projects, aligns resources, develops a project plan and Key Date Schedule and manages the full execution of the project to meet or exceed partner expectations. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a high volume environment.
  • Manages projects by understanding the project goals, identify project requirements, constraints and deadlines to develop statements of work, project key date schedules, consulting with internal business partners, aligning resources, and collaborating with creative resources to execute on the marketing goals.
  • Responsible for tracking project schedules and documenting and communicating change requests to project scope and timeline.
  • Responsible for project workflow within Marketing Intake Request (MIR) platform, including project and component status, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Tracks time spent on projects, successfully closes out completed projects and archives deliverables to enable accurate tracking of metrics.
  • Builds and fosters strong relationships with business unit partners and teams responsible for creative and production output.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for questions regarding MIR, workflow / process, timeline, status, statements of work and deadlines or change in scope of a marketing project, etc.
  • Should position themselves as an advocate for design and editorial teams and educate/share with their internal business partners and/or external agencies realistic timelines, role clarity, and overall best practices for the most effective means for execution.
  • Supports an efficient and effective process that provides successful outcomes. Manages that process to deliver projects on time, within scope and on budget.
  • Will be a MIR platform expert in order to manage project intake and assist partners with the submission process.
  • Adheres to any compliance driven activities.

Requirements:
  • College degree and 1 year of related work experience, or Associate degree and 3 years related work experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 5 years related work experience
  • Must perform well under time-sensitive deadlines
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to lead initiatives
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application
