- Will do an evaluation of intake- Evaluating security monitors that are in the intake. Ensuring requirements are correct, ensuring they understand requirements- do they understand what to build for reports, dashboards, etc.
- May have to sit in meetings and gather reqs with customers.
- Will be spending time with cyber teams to understand their struggles and what their development priorities should be- partially why he wants them onsite.
- Will 70% building dashboards, models, etc. 30% Wants to create logic to detect. Need to develop with efficiency.
- 24/7 environment. Sometimes all hands needed.
- Wants someone with SOC experience.
- Needs to have a good security head on their shoulders. Understand what types of controls apply to what types on infrastructure.
- Need to know about infrastructure in and out.
- Certs- highly preferred, but not required. Need advanced skills though. Content they're tasked to develop is sophisticated. That can account Need to understand security inside out and understand types of monitoring that'll need to be developed.
- Culture- they like to work together, want people that are very personable and will work with folks. Not hide behind emails.
