Role Description: The

SQL Server DBA must have at least 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and secure database servers.- Set and maintain database standards.- Manage database access.- Performance tuning of database systems.- Ensure all database servers are backed up.- Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.- Deploy database change scripts provided by third party vendors.- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.- Create automation for repeating database tasks.- Preserving data integrity.- Ethical handling of private data, including financial and/or healthcare data for certain companies.- Position requires after-hours and weekend on-call support.

Qualifications/Skills: - Experience with server installation and maintenance.- Familiarity with database management best practices.- Knowledge of IT security best practices.- Excellent attention to detail.- Problem-solving and critical thinking.- Strong SQL engineering and administration.- Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance.- Write complex SQL queries, including use of common table expressions, temporary tables, and querying XML data.- Understand basic RDBMS concepts and best practices, such as primary and foreign key constraints and database normalization.- SQL backups and frequent transaction logs backups using Commvault.- Experience managing systems in a VMware environment.- Understand relational and dimensional data modeling.- Familiarity with SSRS, SQL Profiler, SSMS, and import/export tools.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Optional Qualifications/Skills: - Some .NET programming experience or education specific to C# language.- Familiarity with XQuery, XPath, and XSLT stylesheets.- Knowledge of basic web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NPM, and IIS.- Experience with git source control tool and PowerShell.- Development of API s- SharePoint administration and SharePoint SPFx web part development.- Administration of Intapp Open, Flow, and Integrate.- Experience with PHP programming language and MySQL.

Education and Experience Requirements: - Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.- 7+ years of SQL database administration supporting mission critical applications.

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 6 years
