- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE, EEE, Statistics, Math, Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Physics, Financial Engineering, or related STEM fields. Advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of Data Architecture experience in a large complex data ecosystem, domain expertise with complex high-tech environments.
- 4+ years of building both traditional and cloud native architectures and big data platforms in support of digital transformation.
- 4+ years of experience in Industry 4.0 initiatives and/or other aspects of corporate data management; e.g. Data Governance, Data Security, AI/ML, Data DevOps.
- Current hands-on experience with industry leading data management tools that support the data lifecycle, and capable of setting and driving long term data architecture roadmaps in alignment with corporate strategic objectives.
- Current hands-on experience with one or more relational SQL and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, DynamoDB, Neo4J, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.
- Experience with any of the following Data Modeling tools (or similar tools):
- Archi
- ER/Studio
- Erwin Data Modeler
- Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler
- PowerDesigner
- SQL DBM
- Xplenty
- Experience with following message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ tools and technologies is a plus:
- Amazon Kinesis / Google Cloud Platform PubSub
- Apache Flink
- Apache Kafka
- Apache Kylin
- Apache NiFi
- Apache Samza
- Apache Spark
- Apache Storm
- Hadoop
- Hive
- Zeppelin/ Jupyter
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills and algorithmic problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of / experience with Omni-channel CX is a plus
