Sr. Data Engineer (Talend)

job summary:Develop new and enhance existing ETL feeds, using the Talend Data Studio platform. Consultant will augment the CoE Integrations team supporting efforts tied to scheduled project releases and preparation for upcoming release schedules. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Scope: - Analyze and provide feedback on business and up/downstream technical requirements; contribute to technical solution design. - Identify dependencies and risks; estimate level of effort to complete incoming work. - Deliver complete Talend feeds, following company development standards. - Establish and maintain documentation for feeds while in development and enhancement. Communicate and coordinate with company integration teams. - Establish validation scenarios for new feeds. Add regression test cases for changes to existing feeds. - Push changes into GitHub repository and coordinate with company development lead to promote into QA and Production environments. - Communicate and coordinate with company development and architecture teams across the CoE to ensure new work and enhancements meet technical requirements. - Enter notes and keep project delivery status current on company project management tools (JIRA, Project & Portfolio Management). - Complete other efforts as prioritized by the company delivery team. - Submit timesheets to reflect actual time worked in company time reporting tools (Project & Portfolio Management). location: Cleveland, Ohiojob type: Contractsalary: $50 - 70 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:
